The irony of this (all humour aside) is that there is a scene in that film where Irons and Meryl Streep are doing their romance thing on a harbour wall in Lyme Regis and it is the place where ....foolishly on my part Oban Eric and I once dived into a very cold sea to swim to the shore which turned out to be about three times further away than it looked... it was the closest I ever came to drowning. Eric on the other hand swam like a bloody fish ... I hope he still can.

Today Sam has come to visit and on the way she picked up a Metro newspaper. I just found a stunning little article in it.

I like railways a lot and there's pieces of model rail track lying around in it, been there for years. Tested my camera the other night, hence photos of trains in my house. All photos taken before your emails. Trains,(a few days ago)Catalina(last autumn airshow, the only plane I photographed. Jupiters moons(with some Vodka woble and wee camera hand held at my telescope.Technically crap,but I like it. No real reason for photos. One of my favorite recordings ever is West Side Story, Leonard Bernstein.

They were the first real Roma that Ross had met. May 6 - The eye of the needle.
The Sutherland connection in Lomax' name is interesting. I wondered if something of this nature would appear because in the year that Elaine and I met Eric and I were decorating the Alexandra hotel and Donald Sutherland was a guest. He was there when I had the Henry boat at the time that the wood incident occurred.
They were making the film The eye of the needle.The character that Sutherland played was called HENRY.
He maintains a home in Georgeville, in Quebec's Eastern Townships.

TWO earthquakes have hit parts of New Zealand today. A magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook people in the Wellington region and parts of the top of the South Island at 11.33am (0933 AEST).
The tremor was centred 10 km southwest of Wellington, at a depth of 30km, GeoNet says.
The second quake, also measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, struck at 12.31pm and was felt on the west coast of the South Island.
It was centred 10km south of Ross at a depth of 15km.

A few years ago in Varkala I saw something unforgettable, a beautiful blonde haired blind girl being led along the clifftop path by her parents. I always wanted to see her again. A few days ago I mentioned it to Elaine again, it's one of those poignant memories.
Yesterday Elaine watched a video of a blind girl singing on The Voice in Australia and later said to me that I must see it. She did not connect it with what I had told her about the girl in Varkala ... but guess what ... there she is.

In Skylark, the house in the Varkala film, Italian Dorothea brought another Australian Rachel to see the film.
After the film had started a man named Charles turned up to watch it. Rachels is an anagram of Charles.
I thought back to that yesterday and wondered if a Charles would come into the current timing. Later my son Michael arrived home from college and told us that Prince Charles is visiting the college today.

May 11 - Rachael's tornado And Prince Charles' map..
My first post about Rachael happened on May 7 and in it I mentioned that Elaine had shown me her Voice video the day before, the 6th, Glen's death anniversary, the day of the Wellington and Ross earthquakes.
On that day the Tornado hit Japan. It was a devastating event made all the more meaningful because it hit not far from Fukushima, I bet the Japanese are thanking God that it didn't hit it.

Ross Kelly Elaine has reminded me that Harley's full name was Mark Ashley Campbell. He changed his name to Harley Bell because Harley mask is an anagram of Mark Ashley.
That was two years before we realised the importance of anagrams.

May 6 - The eye of the needle.
The Sutherland connection in Lomax' name is interesting. I wondered if something of this nature would appear because in the year that Elaine and I met Eric and I were decorating the Alexandra hotel and Donald Sutherland was a guest. He was there when I had the Henry boat at the time that the wood incident occurred.

Ross Kelly Rachael Leahcar is of Italian descent. The Italian community in Adelaide support her strongly, she has appeared on Italian TV.
In Skylark, the house in the Varkala film, Italian Dorothea brought another Australian Rachel to see the film.
After the film had started a man named Charles turned up to watch it. Rachels is an anagram of Charles.
I thought back to that yesterday and wondered if a Charles would come into the current timing. Later my son Michael arrived home from college and told us that Prince Charles is visiting the college today.
Dorothy is the name of the girl in the Wizard of Oz who went over the rainbow.

May 11 - Rachael's tornado And Prince Charles' map..
My first post about Rachael happened on May 7 and in it I mentioned that Elaine had shown me her Voice video the day before, the 6th, Glen's death anniversary, the day of the Wellington and Ross earthquakes.
On that day the Tornado hit Japan. It was a devastating event made all the more meaningful because it hit not far from Fukushima, I bet the Japanese are thanking God that it didn't hit it.
It was a tornado that carried Dorothy and Toto over the rainbow.
